Chakra Balancing Meditation is designed to focus on your seven energy centers to focus and balance them to remove any blockages that are causing issues with your health. I will detail the actual meditation steps in the Reiki way to open and clear your energy centers. This will balance your higher frequency energy and help to release any negative energy from your body.
Designate a place in your home where you will be completely undisturbed for at least 30 minutes at any time. Sit in a comfortable chair and close your eyes while focusing on regulating your breathing in a rhythmic way. Begin your chakra balancing meditation by starting with the first chakra. Your first focus will be on your base chakra or Root – visualize a RED clockwise spinning ball. Concentrate on breathing in red and breathing out red for two to three minutes. You want to see the energy flowing from the spinning red ball down through your legs into the earth (grounding you).
The second chakra is the Sacral chakra. Envision an orange ball spinning clockwise as well and breathe orange in and out for two to three minutes. The third chakra is the Solar Plexus designated by a bright yellow clockwise spinning ball again spending two to three minutes breathing yellow.
The fourth chakra is the Heart chakra. Use the image of a bright green ball spinning clockwise while breathing green rhythmically for the aforementioned time span. The fifth chakra is the Throat chakra – imagine a bright blue ball spinning clockwise again and breathing regularly for the two to three minute span. Make sure you are seeing the blue ball’s energy entering at the Throat chakra and flowing out each arm.
The sixth chakra is the Third Eye chakra. This will utilize an indigo ball spinning clockwise as your focus. Your brow is the focus for the two to three minutes you are breathing the indigo energy in and out. The final chakra is the Crown chakra with a violet clockwise spinning ball focusing your attention to create an image of a violet lotus blooming on your Crown chakra.
